A large comprehensive analysis of clinical trial samples from patients with non-Hodgkin lymphoma who were treated with anti-CD19 CAR T therapy shows that a high proportion of naive-like and stem cell memory-like CCR7+CD45RA+ T cells in the pre-infusion CAR T product correlates with improved and prolonged clinical benefit, which was validated in an independent external cohort including different products.
